Cocolis celebrates its 6th birthday! 🎂🎉

Cocolis is celebrating its 6th birthday. In 6 years, 1001 things have happened at Cocolis!
Here is a list of the highlights of our story…
2015: Creation of Cocolis
The idea of Eliette and Julien came to life with the creation of Cocolis. And it was Jean-Marc T., a Cocolis enthusiast, who made the very first delivery on the platform by transporting a pair of skis between Abzac and Vic-en-Bigorre on 15 October 2015. Thank you, Jean-Marc!
2016: MAIF joins Cocolis
This was the start of our partnership with the French people's favourite insurer, who is very committed to the collaborative economy. Even today, this partnership allows users to send their goods with complete peace of mind!
2017: Cocolis joins Station F
For over a year at Station F, incubated by MoveLab, Cocolis made great connections, including Juliette and Malvina, who both spent 6 months as interns with the team. That same year, Cocolis began working in support of the bill for the Mobility Orientation Law.
2018: Awards and TV appearance
Cocolis won the European Startup Prize for Mobility and Julien and Eliette travelled to Tallinn and Montreal to present the solution.
We also appeared on TV in the show Capital, on M6!
2019: First permanent contract and Mobility Orientation Law
After her internship, Juliette became the first employee of Cocolis, hired on a permanent contract! She has now been working alongside the shopkeepers registered on Cocolis for three years, and we are proud to have her with us! This year also marked the enactment of the Mobility Orientation Law, for which Cocolis had contributed to the work on the co-transportation bill.
2020: App, new website and solidarity deliveries
In addition to the long-awaited Cocolis app, we also unveiled our new logo and launched a new version of the website. We welcomed professional carriers to Cocolis and developed our moving service. In this year marked by the COVID pandemic, Cocolis launched solidarity deliveries (essential goods, masks, hygiene products, etc.)
2021: New partnerships
There are now nearly 350,000 users on Cocolis!
We have signed new partnerships with second-hand goods sites such as La Reboucle (La Redoute) and Orches’troc (Orchestra), and more recently with the vintage furniture and decoration platform Selency.
