🚀 Cocolis moves to Station F!

25 July 2017

We are very happy to share this great news with you: COCOLIS is joining the first acceleration programme dedicated to mobility sector startups, located within the Station F incubator!

We're just as excited as when we announced our partnership with MAIF or when we won La Fabrique Aviva 😊

More than 70 startups applied. Our application was shortlisted, then we presented in front of a jury of about fifteen people. And we received the great news that we are one of the 7 startups selected to join the Moove Lab at Station F!

We are very proud, because we gave it our all during our pitch 😀😅

Cocolis will have the chance to benefit from top-level support to grow our business faster. For example, we will take part in a five-week intensive work programme (pre-incubation) and have privileged access to partners in the automotive sector (139,000 companies).

Moove Lab: What is it?

To create and run this acceleration programme, Station F received several applications. The project led by the CNPA (National Council of Automotive Professions) and Via ID, which supports projects related to new mobility (urban, shared, connected), was selected.

The Moove Lab is the acceleration programme for mobility startups at Station F.

The ambition of the Moove Lab is to support the development of innovative projects in the field of mobility, and to foster synergies between startups and players in the CNPA ecosystem.

  • The CNPA is the 5th largest professional organisation in France, representing a sector with 139,000 companies and 400,000 jobs across the country. Find out more
  • Via ID is an incubator in Paris and Lille, with an office in San Francisco. It is also an investment fund with around twenty startups in its portfolio (including Drivy, Xee, etc.). Via ID is part of Mobivia (Norauto, Midas, etc.). Find out more

Station F: What is it?

Station F is the largest startup incubator in the world, which has just opened at the Halle Freyssinet in Paris.

This ambitious project was initiated and fully funded by the founder of Free and 42 school, Xavier Niel. Launched in 2013, Station F was designed to host more than a thousand startups in a single location. Xavier Niel invested 250 million euros in this project, which covers 34,000 square metres.

Station F was inaugurated by President Emmanuel Macron and the Mayor of Paris, Anne Hidalgo. Its ambition is to showcase French startups and technologies.

Beyond the excitement of joining the world's largest incubator and immersing ourselves for the next 6 months in a vibrant startup ecosystem, we are delighted that this is happening within the Moove Lab.

They talk about it

“We are particularly proud of this first Moove Lab cohort, which shows that our sector has a bright future! These are innovative, demanding projects that create added value for both consumers and professionals, and we are delighted to support them,” says Francis Bartholomé, National President of the CNPA.

“These first juries are a strong sign of the CNPA and its members opening up to new professions and business models in mobility. We have chosen very eclectic projects in terms of themes and approaches (from platforms to products, including services). Ultimately, these topics are very representative of the changes in our sector. The synergies between the traditional automotive sector and new professions are taking shape, and we are delighted to be co-organisers!” explains Jean-François Dhinaux, Director of Incubation, Marketing and Strategy at Via ID.

“We were particularly excited to discover the variety and number of projects submitted to the Moove Lab. This first cohort demonstrates the richness and innovation potential of our sector, whether in traditional, solidarity-based or collaborative mobility.” Sébastien VALERE, Digital and Transformation Director at Carglass.

*The CNPA is the main movement of entrepreneurs in the mobility sector and brings together companies involved in vehicle sales, fuels, new energies, as well as repair, recycling, new mobility, and all services for motorists.
