Cocolis supports connected women!

9 May 2018

You may have noticed, lately, women are making their mark more and more in the digital world.

However, according to a study conducted by FrenchTech and Capgemini, it appears that they represent less than 10% of entrepreneurs in the Tech sector and less than 28% in the digital sector compared to their male counterparts.

Because they have a different approach from men and, for example, their primary goal is not to grow but rather to sustain their business, today initiatives are multiplying to support and democratise the presence of female entrepreneurship in digital.

The Capgemini Consulting / La French Tech study

This year, the Digital Women's Day study was conducted with 1,000 women and 15 women entrepreneurs. Éliette is very proud to have contributed to this study among the 15 women entrepreneurs.

The female entrepreneur from Cocolis was able to share her experience and vision as a Digital Woman.

Together with her peers, they were able to identify the main factors explaining why women are underrepresented in the digital world and to propose solutions to overcome these obstacles.

These solutions are structured around 5 main pillars: #Learn #Create #Finance #Drive #Lead

At Cocolis, we support connected women

At the head of Cocolis is a woman, Éliette Vincent, who believed in herself and dared to launch her company in digital.

Of course, with Eliette as the founder of Cocolis, we can only support female entrepreneurs and hope that the number of women investing in digital entrepreneurship projects increases.

Digital Women's Day (JFD)

Created in 2013 at the initiative of Delphine Remy-Boutang, the day aims to bring together connected women and provide a time for exchange, sharing and reflection.

This year, the day was themed “For a Better World, time for action” in French “Elles changent le monde“. The aim of this JFD was to identify the main problems women face and to come up with concrete solutions to help them create a more creative and fairer world. On this day, Cocolis, represented by Éliette, was present alongside other connected women.

The Margaret Award

“Give to Margaret what belongs to Margaret”

This is how Delphine Rémy-Boutang, founder of the award, sums up the main objective of this Prize.

The aim is to highlight and award a prize to the digital female entrepreneur of the year as well as the digital female intrapreneur of the year. That is, women who lead a digital project by creating their own company (entrepreneur) or within their organisation (intrapreneur).

This award also aims to provide young women wishing to lead a digital project with role models within their reach, far from the great figures of this world whose dazzling fame often seems out of reach.

On 17 April, Éliette was part of the jury during the Margaret Award ceremony.

Initiatives encouraging and rewarding connected women, changing mindsets on the subject, providing new tools, etc.

Who knows what tomorrow's digital women will be capable of?
